Account information: name, email, organization, and authentication credentials.

Stewardship data: sites, observations, monitoring records, photos, field notes, and volunteer hours that you create within the Service.

Usage data: page visits, feature interactions, and diagnostic logs that help us improve the Service.

Cookies: session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for things like dashboard mode.

To provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, send transactional email (e.g. password resets, billing receipts), and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your stewardship data to train third-party AI models.

We share information only with subprocessors that help us operate the Service — for example, our cloud hosting provider, email delivery, and payment processor (Stripe).

A current list of subprocessors is available on request at privacy@custodia.land.

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. We honor data subject rights under the GDPR, CCPA, and similar regimes.

Locations of threatened or endangered species are treated as sensitive by default and may be coarsened, restricted, or excluded from public outputs at your discretion.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, you have 30 days to export, after which data is permanently deleted from production systems within 90 days.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
